What turned out to be a simple red carpet movie premiere for ‘Valerian’ across the pond in London, turned into a bit of a wardrobe malfunction for British Playboy model, Carla Howe.
Lowe, who was set to attend the London premiere of fellow Brit model, Cara Delevingne’s new sci-fi movie, “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” featuring a A-list cast of Dane DeHaan, Clive Owen, Rihanna, Ethan Hawke and Rutger Hauer at Leiceter Square, inadvertently flashed the camera her black sheer undergarments, per the UK-based gossip daily, The Mail.
Attending the premiere with fellow Made In Chelsea star, Nicola Hughes, and wearing a dress from Nazz Collection, with both rocking pink hair, a strong London wind gust inadvertently left the brown-haired beauty felling a bit exposed.
Naturally, with both the press and British paparazzi on hand, it was long after Howe’s slight mishap that it would be all over social media.
As far as the movie itself, it has scored a 55% rating from Rotten Tomatoes and a 7/10 from IMDb.
With a budget of over $209 million, the most ever for a European and crowd-funded independent movie in history, and a running time of 137 minutes, the Luc Besson-directed, PG-13-rated sci-fi flick has been universally panned for it’s writing and plot, en route to grossing $23 million so far since premiering in the United States, before it’s Paris debut at EuropaCorp on July 26.
Not that the movie could use any more help, based on the horrible reviews so far, but Howe’s little underwear malfunction may have at least provided it with a brief reprieve from the online and social critics of perhaps the biggest summer movie flop of 2017.
