They are undefeated at 10-0 overall, 7-0 in the Big Ten West, yet they are getting the Rodney Dangerfield treatment. They play in one of the top conferences, yet because of its checked past as a less than stellar bowl record, the No.8 Wisconsin Badgers are not getting the respect they deserve.

Some are quick to point out their cupcake schedule that would make Little Debbie blush, in the fact that they’ve only played two ranked teams in No.20 Iowa and No.25 Northwestern.

Yet, they have played the likes of Florida Atlantic, Utah State and BYU. Per ESPN, they have the 73rd toughest schedule in the country,

However, the Badgers schedule could be getting a much needed boost with Michigan and a likely game vs. the two-loss No.12 Ohio State in the Big Ten title game.

But again, outside of who they’ve played, is Wisconsin worthy of being a top four team in this week’s College Football Playoff Rankings?

Are they on par with an Alabama, Clemson, Miami or even Oklahoma on a neutral field?

Are they better than Ohio State, TCU, Georgia or Notre Dame?

Even if they somehow manage to run the table and theoretically beat the Buckeyes in the title game, the Badgers may still be left out of the College Football Playoffs.

While the Badgers are undefeated and are considered a traditional Big Ten team, sadly, that unfortunately be their undoing tonight.
