Chihuahua, Mexico.
The largest and most colorful region of Mexico, Chihuahua has a long and colorful past all it’s own.
Known for its namesake desert, rugged mountain terrain and wide river valleys and Copper Canyon, thanks to large cities such as Ciaudad Juarez, Chihuahua and Delicias, Chihuahua has a large and vital role in agriculture, manufacture and being a flashpoint of international trade between the United States and Mexico.
While known for its vast and great beauty, Chihuahua also serves as the center of the massive drug trade and immigration on the border as well. 1,245 miles to the east lies “The Crossroads”, Victoria, Texas.
Thanks to it’s location 30 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and being within a two-hour drive to Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Austin, the town of 63,000-plus is a vital regional hub.
With notables such as WWE wrestler/actor Steve Austin, MLB Cy Young winner Doug Drabeck, Ron Gant and one-time NFL star quarterback Kevin Kolb and country musician Frankie Miller all calling Victoria home, could former Chihuahua native and current Victorian in print and runway model, Marisol Lynne Venegas become it’s latest export.
Venegas, a native of the small Chihuahua town of Pedro Meoqui is a stunning and busty Tex-Mex girl who brings new meaning to the term muy caliente. Despite being just 19, the 5’7 long-legged Venegas has already modeled for the likes of brands such as Boyfriends Suck and Klowdix Clothing, is set to bring some Latina spice to the world of modeling.

What kind of model do you consider yourself? (Instagram, bikini, swimsuit, glamour, fitness) etc? Glamour or Fashion for sure!
What brands have you modeled for? Which one do you enjoy modeling for the most? Boyfriends Suck and Klowdix Clothing, I would have to say boyfriend sucks, I went through an abusive relationship and it helped boost my self confidence that my ex had crushed.
Where has been your favorite place to shoot? The old church in Goliad! It’s so beautiful and it has a lot of history.
What is the most exciting aspect of modeling? A lot of people look down on modeling, but I honestly love every aspect. I feel like models are the most insecure because we are always in the public eye but because we model it boost self confidence and traveling is just really fun.
With spring now here and summer right around the corner, what fashion and style tips and trends do you have for looking good when the temperature rises? Crop Tops! Crop Tops ! Crop Tops! Covers the top but shows enough waist line to be sexy.
Athleisure? Fashion or fitness fad? For me ? Both! Athletic clothes to me are just super comfortable especially for walking around the mall. Who says you have to hit a gym to wear your sports bra?
What swimwear trends do you see being big this summer? I’ve been seeing a lot of the high-waisted bikini bottoms, I haven’t had the chance to look at any but I’m definitely looking forward to it! What is your go-to swimwear style that you MUST have. A white lace throw over piece! It’s super classy yet sexy.
Within the industry, who is your modeling inspiration? This is probably super cliché, but Tyra Banks. She is outgoing, intelligent, and a go getter. She inspires me not to only look good but also to hustle as a woman.
What is your secret to staying in shape? Truth is? I hardly work out, maybe 30 min a day focusing on my core and legs. I’m definitely not a 3 hour gym person.
What is your workout and fitness secret to staying in shape? Squats and Core exercises.
As someone who has is very curvy, what do you think best exudes sexiness and confidence? Your personality! If you’re confident in yourself I feel like it immediately shows.
What is your opinion of the whole “shaming” issue that seems to permeate across social media and how have you handled it, if any haters tried to call you out? I live in a small town and it’s full of people that are always judging you or “hating”. I’m not perfect by any means but I really wish people would understand that words go further than most think. A lot of people have attempted to call me and I use to feed into it, I quickly learned that when it comes to people like that it’s better to ignore it and just do you. Your success and happiness is better than any comeback.
What would you say is your best feature? My legs! They are long so they definitely helped me a lot in my career.
Any beaches you plan on hitting up this summer? I’m really hoping for a Cali trip! If not I’ll definitely hitting up South Padre Island which is really big in Texas.
Any future projects coming down the pipeline? I told myself I would cosplay Wonder Woman this year so that definitely will be happening! I also started acting this year; just had my first commercial recently and it went really well.
Outside of modeling, what are your hobbies? I’m from a small town in Texas, so I enjoy four-wheelers, fishing, and fast cars. I also love animals, I think I love every animal except insects and reptiles.
Sports question: Who are your favorite teams and clubs? Is modeling a sport ? LOL! I don’t really keep up with sports very much.
What are your favorite cities to travel to? L.A. because of the nightlife and it’s so busy. Here in Texas I would have to say Dallas because the opportunities! They are so beautiful and there’s so much to see and do! No matter what though my heart will always be in Texas.
What advice would you give to women aspiring to get into modeling? My immediate advice to aspiring models is to never lose track of who you are and never let anybody tell you that you aren’t good enough. Life is beautiful and God has given each and every one of us the ability to be who we want to be. It’s hard and there’s going to be times that you’ll doubt yourself but don’t ever lose faith.
