According to media reports, Tom Brady has been suspended four games without pay for playing with under-inflated footballs during the 2014 AFC Championship Game.
Three days after the Wells Report came out identifying Brady’s knowledge of the under-inflated footballs used during the AFC their 45-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts during the AFC title game.
In suspending perhaps it’s most marque star for four games, the four-time Super Bowl champion and likely first-ballot Hall-of-Famer is banned from all off-season activities and will miss all pre-season games.
With the suspension, Brady will miss early key matchups against the Pittsburgh Steelers at home and a revamped Buffalo Bills team, coached by long-time antagonist Rex Ryan on the road.
In addition to Brady being suspended, the NFL also fined the New England Patriots one million dollars and took away their first-round pick in 2016 and a fourth-rounder in 2017.
