If there such thing as pure beauty, than the Eastern European country of Poland has much to offer. A country of tremendous history, culture and a storied past, Poland has contributed much to the world in the form of science, entertainment and culture.

The former Soviet Union-controlled member of the Warsaw Pact, Poland has also made significant contributions in the world of modeling.

Famous supermodels such as Joanna Krupa, Magdalena Wrobel and Dagmara Dominczyk have strutted their stuff on various catwalks such as Victoria’s Secret and appeared in men’s magazines such as Maxim and on the small screen.

The latest Polish stunner to make her name in the world of modeling is Barbara Eva Breidenbach is one to watch. Born in the southern Polish city of Chorzow, Breidenbach has posed for various lingerie, swimsuit and luxury brands such as Maax Spa, while serving as brand ambassador for Carboon38, Kiliwatch Paris, and Valenza Moda.

IN addition to walking Paris Fashion Week in 2006, the 5’10 long-legged, dark-haired stunner has also served as a muse in posing for many artiest in various art galleries for body sculptures.

Currently based in San Antonio, Texas for the last eight years, Bredienbach is making moves in becoming Poland’s next great modeling export.

Below is my Q and A with Ms. Breidenbach as we discuss fashion, modeling and life in America.

Robert D. Cobb: What kind of model do you consider yourself?

Barbara Breidenbach: “Instagram, pin-up/glamour, fashion. I was originally a fashion/runway model. Right now, I pose for art projects, commercial, and editorials.”

 

Robert D. Cobb: What brands have you modeled for? Which one do you enjoy modeling for the most?

Barbara Breidenbach: “I have modeled for many lingerie and swimsuit brands. I have done high fashion and runway modeling, which I enjoy the most.”

 

Robert D. Cobb: Where has been your favorite place to shoot?

Barbara Breidenbach: “Bathtubs; the desert with its beautiful sunsets, and on the rooftops in Paris with views of Eiffel Tower.”

 

Robert D. Cobb: What is the most exciting aspect of modeling?

Barbara Breidenbach: “Travel; seeing new places; working with fashion.”

 

Robert D. Cobb: With winter here and spring right around the corner, what fashion and style tips and trends do you have for looking good when the temperature drops?

Barbara Breidenbach: “I strive to look good all year round. I pay attention to taking care of myself with daily exercise, yoga, bike riding, hiking, and skiing. I exfoliating and moisturizing my skin daily.

I always overdressed for almost all the places I go….one never knows what awaits you around the corner!”

Robert D. Cobb: Within the industry, who is your inspiration?

Barbara Breidenbach: “Naomi Campbell for her beautiful walk and Eva Herzigova for her poise and look.”

 

Robert D. Cobb: What is your secret to staying in shape?

Barbara Breidenbach: “It really is very simple. One must do daily exercise with attention to cross training. One cannot get in shape by focusing in just one sport.

One cannot just ride a bike daily and be in shape for all aspects of ones mind body and spirit.

It is a combination of proper eating, sleeping, mental well being while simultaneously concentrating on multiple sports that improve cardiovascular, strength and mental stability. Staying in shape is a full time job.”

 

Robert D. Cobb: Outside of modeling, what are your hobbies?

Barbara Breidenbach:Yoga, cinema, good books, passion for fashion, my son.”

 

Robert D. Cobb: Sports question: Who are your favorite teams and clubs?

Barbara Breidenbach: “San Antonio Spurs; Real Madrid”

 

Robert D. Cobb: What are your favorite cities to travel to?

Barbara Breidenbach: “San Francisco, Paris, Barcelona and Krakow”

 

Robert D. Cobb: What advice would you give to women aspiring to get into modeling?

Barbara Breidenbach: “Do your research and never give up! Modeling is a very difficult profession. There will be many rejections but be persistent! Always remember “Entrepreneurs average 3.8 failures before final success. What sets the successful ones apart is their amazing persistence.” (Lisa M. Amos)”
