The Carolina Panthers, a major disappointment this season, are trying to salvage what they possibly can of the 2016 season. They head out west for a showdown with the Los Angeles Rams in a battle of two “middle of the pack” teams. If the Rams are able to win this game on Sunday, then they could plug themselves right into the thick of the competitive playoffs for the NFC.

First, we will look at the Carolina Panthers. They are coming into this game with a record of 2-5 and are the third worst team in the NFC. It is sad how this team last year was so dominating and now they are one of the worst teams in the league. After going on a three-game losing streak, the Panthers were able to right the wrong as they were able to beat the Cardinals by the score of 30-20. While the Panthers have not been able to perform well this season, their defense has also been bad. Overall, it’s been a bad season for the Panthers.

On the other side, you have the Los Angeles Rams. They are coming into this game with a record of 3-4 and are currently in the thick of the playoff race for the Wild Card spots in the NFC. The Rams were on a bye week last week after suffering a loss to the New York Giants in London two weeks ago. The big thing that can be taken from a slew of the NFC teams is that if the Rams wins, they will make it much closer.
