Which Vessel to Choose?
In the context of renting a yacht, which in English can also be found under the word ‘charter’, we are talking about a long-term charter of a vessel. A typical rental period is approximately one week or more. The yacht can be rented with or without a captain, and of course, even in this case, safety comes first. If you decide to rent a yacht without a captain, you need to hold a license to become one. There are many types of yachts from which you can pick the one that suits your plans best: motor yacht, sports cruiser, fishing or displacement yacht.
One of the most popular solutions is a catamaran charter. The word catamaran itself may not be that familiar to you, but if you have ever seen a yacht with two parallel hulls in the picture, you would have immediately recognize it. People who like catamarans usually prefer them over classic yachts because of its stability and good sailing characteristics.
