The incredible 10th Lauren’s Kids statewide Walk in My Shoes walk got underway on April 2nd, kicking things off with an initial 31 mile leg in the Florida Keys as a part of the 1,500-mile trek across Florida. The Walk is intended to raise awareness and provide education in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.
This event took place during both National Child Abuse Prevention Month (April) and National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, making it a powerful symbol of solidarity and action.
The walk spanned across the state, ending in Panama City, making multiple stops in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

Cotterman Center in Oakland Park in the afternoon on Sunday.
