It’s here! The first Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer has been released, as it debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight! It sure is a good time to be a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or the MCU for short, as this is the second big trailer reveal within the past week. It was only a few days ago that we were treated to the first full Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer.
But now we have more than Baby Groot to keep us occupied over the course of the coming months. With Guardians being the next MCU film to hit theaters, and that coming on May 5th, 2017, the wait is going to be a lengthy one. As for Spider-Man, it will not be until July 7th, 2017 until he swings into a theater near you.
But have no fear, we now have some footage to digest! This trailer will surely be watched on repeat by Marvel fans across the country, as the anticipation for this film will grow with each passing day. Spider-Man is one of the largest names in the superhero world, between both Marvel and DC. He finally returned home to Marvel Studios when the Tom Holland version of the character debuted in Captain America: Civil War earlier this year. After the character has gone through two different takes, with both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield portraying Peter Parker since 2002 in a total of five films, it is now Holland’s role moving forward.
