The House of Feigenblatt signed a cooperation agreement with Fidelitas University of Costa Rica. Fidelitas University is one of the most innovative institutions of higher learning in Costa Rica and it is listed in the prestigious QS list of universities. The ceremony took place on the 21st of January in the University’s main campus in San Jose Costa Rica. The ceremony was facilitated by Ms. Maria Belen Paz Soldan de Ugarte, Chief of Staff of His Excellency Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt, Andean Parliament Special Envoy for Education and Head of the House of Feigenblatt. The solemn ceremony was co-presided by Dr. Emilia Gazel, Rector of Fidelitas University and by Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt. The ceremony included four keynote presentations. His Excellency Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt delivered the first presentation focusing on the importance of the student-teacher relationship. Dr. Mathew J. Anderson, Senior Minister Counsellor of the House of Feigenblatt to the Central American Parliament and President of the Latin American Campus of Keiser University, delivered a presentation about the challenges faced by institution of higher learning in times of change. Ms. Maria Belen Paz Soldan de Ugarte’ presentation focused on how education can change lives and provide opportunities for young people. Juan Carlos Chavarria, a well-known Costa Rican artist and President of the Fundacion Transformacion en Tiempos Violentos make a powerful appeal to support the engagement of youth in creative ways to foster a culture of peace. 

The House of Feigenblatt is the Household of His Excellency Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt, Andean Parliament Special Envoy for Education and Senior Consultant accredited to UNESCO. Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt is one of the most influential leaders in education and a prominent academic. The House of Feigenblatt organizes academic conferences all over the world to bring leaders to discuss international educational policymaking. Events of the House of Feigenblatt have been held at United Nations Headquarters, the Harvard University Club of New York, the National Assembly of Ecuador, the Headquarters of the Andean Parliament, UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, among many others. Delegations sent by the House of Feigenblatt routinely visit important global and local institutions such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), national assemblies, municipal governments, and specialized agencies. The House of Feigenblatt has permanent cooperation missions accredited to the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN) and to the Andean Parliament.
