Former World No.1 and US Open champion, Lleyton Hewitt, was able to beat another former US Open champion, Juan Martin Del Potro in the best match of the day. After trailing two sets to one, Lleyton took his game to another level and won next two sets to secure his spot in the Third Round.

The past two men’s winners, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, each advanced without too much trouble, although Murray lost one set to Leonardo Mayer.

Serena Williams, Agnieszka Radwanska and Sloane Stephens played very well and secured their spots in Round 16.
