LAS VEGAS – Day 3 of the NBA Summer League’s most anticipated game was between the Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks, with their dynamic duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker, played against an experienced Suns Summer League team that featured their starting regular-season center, Miles Plumlee.
Jabari Parker struggled early on with his shooting, going 1 for 6 from the field, while the Phoenix Suns tandem of Seth Curry and Archie Goodwin were scoring at will.
Milwaukee’s standout was the ‘Greek Freak’ Giannis Antetokoumpo. His ability to play the point guard position and his ability to shoot the ball from three created massive matchup problems. Not only did he create matchup problems on the offensive end of the field, but on the defensive end of the court. He can defend from the 1-5 positions, with his great length and athleticism.
Unfortunately for the Bucks, Phoenix’s Seth Curry resembled his older brother Stephen Curry and continued to shoot the lights out throughout the whole game, while Jabari Parker continued to struggle with his shot.
Not only was Parker struggling with his shot but he was turning the ball over, finishing the game with 6 turnovers. Despite his obvious struggles throughout the game, Parker finished the game with a double-double, scoring 11 points with 10 rebounds.
However, with Curry and Goodwin shooting the lights out the Suns went on to win a rather lopsided game.
