In a move to help fortify one of the NFL’s best offensive lines, the Cleveland Browns select former Pitt offensive tackle T.J. Clemmings.
The selection of Clemmings, a 6’5 309 pounder out of Teaneck, New Jersey, by Joey Potter of Draft Evolution in the Draft Utopia NFL Group Mock Draft, gives the Browns a solid bookend at right tackle opposite future Hall-of-Fame left tackle Joe Thomas and Pro Bowl center Alex Mack.
With Clemmings, the Browns will now be able to move former first-round selection Mitchell Schwartz inside to right guard, giving them—perhaps—the best O-line in all of football.
After selecting former Arizona State wide receiver Jaelen Strong at No.12 here and Clemmings by Potter, the Browns addressed two of their biggest needs on offense at wide receiver and on the right side of the offensive line in the first round.
