KANSAS CITY, MO — With the 2023 NFL Draft days away, a recent media report from The Daily Snark, about arguably its most polarizing player in Kentucky Wildcats QB Will Levis could potentially send shockwaves on draft night.
Levis, a 6’4 234-pound quarterback out of Newton, Massachusetts failed to really cement his status as a potential top overall pick in having an otherwise mediocre season down in Lexington in passing for 2,406 yards and 19 touchdowns, has suddenly skyrocketed to having the best odds of being selected No.1 overall by the Carolina Panthers.
After being mocked as high at No.2 to the Texans, the Titans at No.12 here, and as low at No.23 to the Vikings to even potentially tumbling out of the first round entirely due to reports of interviewing badly, having an arrogant and entitled attitude to his inconsistent play at Kentucky, Levis to Carolina over Bryce Young and CJ Stroud could be either the biggest draft day blunder ever or the guttiest all-in power move in football history.
There is no in-between with Levis, it’s either you love him and his “cannon” arm and NFL pocket passer body or hate him due to his on-field inconsistency and maturity issues.
We will all have our answer to where he does end up early Thursday night.
