In the bustling halls of a Washington, D.C. school, where lesson plans and chalk dust fill the air, six teachers discovered a shared passion that would change their lives forever. By day, they were educators shaping young minds. By night, they became Adamare—a band dedicated to uniting hearts and creating music that celebrates love, connection, and the rhythm of life.
Formed in 2021 the band members include—Claire Tucker (lead vocals), Giavanti Greenaugh (bass), Alex Baron (drums), Nate Harris (keys), Joe Robinson, and Ben Byrd (guitar) have come together to create a movement of empowerment.
Fast forward to 2024, and Adamare is making waves far beyond the classroom. Their latest single, “Time,” is a soulful and reflective anthem that explores the concept of reclaiming moments in a fast-paced world. The song invites listeners to step back from the relentless pressure of modern life and embrace the beauty of the present.
“Time isn’t just a clock ticking — it’s a rhythm waiting for you to find your flow,” says Claire. “When you slow down, you stop chasing and start living. That’s where the real magic happens.”
With calming melodies and rock-infused undertones, “Time” captures the delicate balance between stillness and celebration. It’s about finding freedom in the act of slowing down and creating space for love, joy, and authenticity and letting go of anything that holds you back. The song encourages listeners to embrace the moment, whether that means reflecting quietly or dancing with abandon.
Adamare’s live performances, much like their music, are an experience. Drawing from their time in the classroom, the band understands the power of connection and community. They’ve performed at iconic D.C. venues like The Howard Theatre, Union Stage, and Songbyrd Music House, leaving audiences inspired and uplifted.
What makes Adamare truly remarkable is their dual identity. By day, they teach their students to dream big and be authentic. By night, they live out those lessons themselves, proving that passion and purpose can coexist. Their music, rooted in love and connection, reminds us that time is not something to be spent recklessly—it’s a gift to be cherished.
With “Time,” Adamare delivers a powerful message: step back, slow down, and savour the moments that truly matter. Because in those moments, life’s magic is waiting to unfold.
