Which position should the Ravens target first in the 2017 NFL Draft?
If the wide receiver and/or cornerback positions are addressed in free agency, what are some other needs the Ravens may address in the first 2 rounds of the NFL Draft?
One answer, Pass Rusher.
A replacement for Elvis Dumervil who may be cut and an eventual starter when Terrell Suggs retires is needed. Matt Judon, the 4th round pick out of Grand Valley State last year, had a decent rookie year in 2016 and Za’Darius Smith had a down year in 2016. More talent is needed and one can never have enough pass rushers to build a good defense. Here are some options for a pass rusher that fits the scheme in Rounds 1-2.
Takkarist McKinley- UCLA (RD. 1)
Derek Barnett- Tennessee (RD. 1)
Ryan Anderson- Alabama (RD. 2)
