
The big news this week is Stanford’s loss to USC. Stanford slipped to #9 in the BCS rankings after losing to the USC Trojans 20-17. The Cardinal are in jeopardy of not making the Rose Bowl. If Stanford loses one more game, they could very well be out of BCS contention. There is no doubt the remaining teams on Stanford’s schedule are looking to be party crashers.
Auburn edged Georgia 43-38, solidifying their BCS hopes.
The Baylor Bears demolished Texas Tech 63-34 and are very close to being the new #3. The Ohio State Buckeyes currently hold the #3 spot after defeating Illinois 60-35.
