SEATTLE, Washington – In shocking news, WWE Superstar Titus O’Neil has been suspended by the WWE for unprofessional conduct un befitting by a WWE employee. The incident occurred during the end of the Monday Night RAW taping in Seattle, WA.
After RAW had stopped going live on the USA Network the feed kicked over live to the WWE Network to continue coverage of Daniel Bryan’s retirement. During the live streaming WWE Network portion of Bryan’s retirement the WWE locker room came out to greet him at the top of the ramp. The Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon joined the superstars as part of the celebration.
Once Bryan had passed his fellow Superstars at the top of the ramp they began to return to the back. While this was going on Titus O’Neil grabbed Vince by the arm in what is being described as a “playful, physical way.” Vince responded in kind by shoving O’Neil away from him and playfully threw his arms up and laughed at Titus.
Not much was made of it at the time, but clearly McMahon was upset and as soon as O’Neil arrived at Smackdown Tuesday night, he was told that he was going home.
In even more bizarre news, the suspension could be for up to 90 days. Which would cause Titus to miss WrestleMania 32. WrestleMania is the largest payday of the year for the WWE performers, this would be a serious blow to his income.
The news is shocking because Titus is one of the WWE’s largest goodwill ambassadors. He is regular seen as an active member of the Make a Wish Foundation as well an advocate of anti bullying.
He was nominated for the MEGA Dad Awards 2015 “Celebrity Dad of the Year, and won the award in May of that year. Stayed tuned to the Inscriber for any late breaking news involving the incident.
