Well like the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Last night watching Keith Urban finish his set at Country Thunder it hit me that this years Country Thunder was over and I felt a little bit of sadness, but overall it was a sadness in which I didn’t want it to end because I had such an amazing time. There was so much going on and so much positivity it was like everyone there including the workers forgot about life for the weekend and just enjoyed the moment. The lineup of music artists was amazing and varied from new to old and everything in between.

Speaking of the lineup Hardy was one of the headliners and he did not disappoint he made the crowd go crazy and really got everyone involved even if it was 1000 on Saturday. Cody Johnson was Friday Night’s headliner and he also was very good his crowd wasn’t as big as Hardy’s but he still rocked it. Sunday Night was Keith Urban as the headliner but I will say this I believe that the biggest crowd was for Bailey Zimmerman.

Sunday’s lineup had the most star power in my opinion. You had Chase Matthew start the day off and his set was amazing a rising and up and coming artist, with his hits “Come Get Your Memory” and “Where There Is Smoke”. He announced while he was on the stage that his album not only went gold but went platinum. You then had Tracy Byrd and his great hit “Watermelon Crawl” and he sounded amazing for someone who has been doing it for 20 years. Parmalee took the stage and sang their amazing hits, “Carolina”, “Take My Name”, “Girl In Mine” and even threw in some cover songs for good measure. But to me the star of the night was BZ Bailey Zimmerman, his energy was unmatched, he sounded amazing and made good interaction with the crowd. Before he left the stage he spoke to the crowd and told the kids (and the adults) that it is ok to chase your dreams and not to know what you want to do at 18. He said he was 18 and was a gas pipe line worker and that’s what he thought he wanted to do.

Overall this was an amazing event and look forward to next years event, and might even have to make a trip to a different city and check it out. I took a bunch of videos and pictures they will be posted on my socials.
