Jai Courtney is best known to fans for his role as Eric in Divergent, but thanks to a series of moves, he has landed some roles that might place him at the forefront of Hollywood’s brightest up-and-coming actors.

The Australian native already has quite an extensive resume. His big break came from the Starz original series, Spartacus: War of the Damned. He then parlayed that success into prominent roles in the Tom Cruise action movie, Jack Reacher and the 2013 film, A Good Day to Die Hard.

So far, the actor has had quite a busy 2015. He starred in the second installment of the Divergent series, Insurgent, and plans to take on the iconic role of Kyle Reese in the upcoming Terminator sequel.

When asked by Variety about the upcoming Terminator film, Courtney assured fans, both new and old, that they will be satisfied with the finished product.

“We are really throwing it back to the films that Cameron did. There will be gentle nods to those, paying homage, but moving it forward as well. And trying to engage an entirely new audience, not just people loyal to the series.”

With a starring role in Terminator on the horizon, Courtney already has his sights set on the future. On deck for the 29-year-old is the task of portraying Captain Boomerang in the Warner Brothers comic book film, Suicide Squad.

With two summer blockbusters upcoming, Jai Courtney is primed to take the Hollywood world by storm, as he has a very diverse collection of work that has already evolved into a successful career. A career that is still expanding to new heights.
