I am back again with the latest installment of Mandela Effects, Again for a reminder this is about things we remember one way but is actually not that way at all. I am sure there have been at least one or two times in your life you have had a moment where you remember something and then you go to look at it and it is not actually that way. That is part of the Mandela effect. Here are a couple of more examples that may or may not have happened to you.
Jiffy Peanut Butter
When you were younger and mom or dad would make you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich you would see them grabbing for a jar with a red lid. Some of us remember it to be Jiffy but apparently there has never been a peanut butter with the name Jiffy only JIF. It might be just combining Skippy and JIF or it could be a Mandela Effect. Which way do you remember it?
Looney Tunes
Watching cartoons in the 90s when I was growing up one of the staples was Looney Tunes, but if you are like me you remember it as Looney Toons but if you look back now it is not Looney Toons (which would make sense as they are cartoons) but rather it is Looney Tunes. Kinda weird to be honest I don’t remember it that way. Did you used to watch cartoons and how do you remember it?
We’re Going to Need a Bigger Boat
An Iconic movie was Steve Spielberg’s 1975 Jaws the character Brody portrayed by Roy Scheider is remembered to have said “We’re going to need a bigger boat” but if you go back and watch it now he says “You’re going to need a bigger boat”. Which is weird because he was in fact on the boat so why would he have said that and not included himself. What do you remember Brody’s line as?
As always drop me a line on some other Mandela Effects.
