When the Chicago Bears travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts, there is a sense that this could be a shootout. Both teams come in at 1-3, and neither team plays very good defense. This could be a fantasy players dream. Here are a couple of sleepers to keep your eye on from this game.
Chicago Bears
The Bears are without their big-money quarterback, Jay Cutler. But that had not kept them from throwing the football. As a matter of fact, I would suggest that with Brian Hoyer at the position, the Bears are a better football team. They moved the ball against the Lions much better in week 4. That brings us to our sleeper in week 5, Zach Miller. Miller is increasing his fantasy value every week. Soon, he will be a starter and not a sleeper. But in week five look for him as a sleeper in your lineup. Miller has a great rapport with Brian Hoyer and playing the porous defense of the Colts makes him an attractive fantasy football play!
Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts are looking at this game as almost a must win. What a better opponent to get then the Chicago Bears. The Bears secondary is very weak. That makes for a strong game for our sleeper from the Colts, WR Donte Moncrief. With the Bears secondary being suspect they are going to have to pick and choose their coverage. Are they going to play zone and give up stuff underneath? Are they going to man up and take their chances one-on-one on the outside? Are they going to roll coverage and double up on #1 WR T.Y. Hilton? All of these are options for a less than stellar Bears defense. No matter what they choose, it should open up for Donte Moncrief to have a big afternoon. Don’t sleep on this WR in your fantasy football lineup.
Neither team is unyielding on the back end of their defense. That should open up the board for a couple of guys from either side. WR Eddie Royal from the Bears and WR Phillip Dorsett from the Colts should also be considered. All are great fantasy football 1-week fill-ins.
