After yet another hiatus from social media, Kanye West broke his Twitter silence on April 15th by sending out a series of tweets promoting his brand, a neck tattoo design depicting his son’s name, and of course, a lot of creative rant in true Yeezy fashion. I wonder if he got pre-approval from Kim first, since she has revoked his Twitter privileges in the past.
While the nature of these tweets are quite typical for Kanye, there was one that stood out from the rest, one that he sent to Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom. Although the couple officially signed off on their divorce back in October of 2017, it seems some things may have been left unsettled—at least for Kanye.
The tweet in question included a picture of Kanye and Lamar standing side-by-side and read, “My favorite moment of walking into MSG to play Saint Pablo, I used to go to the hospital and play Lamar the album when he was learning to walk and talk again. Then we walked into the arena together.”
Lamar responded the next day with, “Glad I could be there 4 u bro like u came thru 4 me. It was a big stage 2 be on after everything I went thru but it was worth it.” Nothing like a little brotherly love between the ex brother-in-laws. But, was it more than that?
Because of the coincidental timing of these events, it appears the rapper is likely throwing shade at Tristan Thompson. It has been a week since Thompson’s most recent cheating scandal surfaced, and just days since the birth of his and Khloe Kardashian’s daughter, True Thompson.
True? Yes, that’s what the couple named their new pink bundle of joy, who by the way, already has her own Instagram account with 181,000 followers—and climbing. Sorry, no pictures yet.
Kanye was very supportive of Lamar while in the hospital recovering from the Nevada brothel debacle back in October of 2015. He made several hospital visits and would rap and sing to him, claiming Lamar could be cured through music.
The question is, was Kanye simply caught up in the feels? Or, was he throwing some serious shade? Tell me what you think in the comments below.
