INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Thanks to continuing her record-setting pace on and off the court, Caitlin Clark has been named KIA Eastern Conference player and rookie of the month, thanks to averaging 24.0 ppg, 5.2 RPG and 8.5 apg.

Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx averaged 22.4 ppg, 9.1 RPG and 3.9 apg, (KIA WNBA Western Conference player of the month).

WNBA Coach of the month for August, Christie Side of the Indiana Fever, helped Indiana rebuild their team after a long drought making it in the playoffs.

The last time the Fever played in the postseason was September 3, 2016, when the New York Liberty defeated Indiana.

In what is becoming a regular occurrence, Clark registered another triple-double last night in helping the Fever defeat the Los Angeles Sparks, 93-86. 

This is Clark’s second career triple-double, considering it looked like the Fever was losing in the first half. For the game, Clark had 24 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 10 assists and 7 turnovers.

Aliyah Boston had 24 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists. Kelsey Mitchell added 18 points, four rebounds and 3 turnovers.
