John Cena sets his eyes on Wrestlemania 33
John Cena WWE 16-time Champion

As we are now on the road to Wrestlemania 33, there are rumors going around as to what matches the WWE is planning on putting on at the showcase of the immortals. It seems that we may see what WWE’s plans are for John Cena. Right off the back, I don’t think many people are expecting this match.

According to Cageside Seats, the plan is to have John Cena and Nikki Bella have a mixed gender tag match against the Miz and Maryse. For a while, it seemed that WWE was going to have John Cena face the Undertaker or AJ Styles or Samoa Joe, but it seems that we are getting the Miz instead.

The last time John Cena and the Miz fought at Wrestlemania, was back at Wrestlemania 27. The two of them were apart of the main event that many consider being the worst Wrestlemania of all time. It is clear that this would be done to help the show Total Divas and Total Bellas. This would be a match to look out for if it does happen as you know who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. I wonder if they truly are going this route then it should come apparent either at the Elimination Chamber event itself or right after as you need time to let this story get told.

There’s more on this match that caught my eye. If this is the direction that the WWE goes, then it could be the last Wrestlemania for Nikki Bella. Rumors have been flying around that she may retire due to problems from her neck injury. I remember when she was initially injured that I thought she was foolish to return.

Find out of over the next few weeks if the two power couples on Smackdown Live are set to collide at Wrestlemania. This is just a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt.
