John Ross Player Profile
John Ross - Wide Receiver, Washington

After breaking the all-time 40 yard dash time at the NFL Scouting Combine, where does Washington wide receiver John Ross project in the NFL?

It’s good to be the fastest player on the field immediately entering the league. the Washington receiver turned some heads at the NFL Scouting Combine by running faster than Chris Johnson’s all-time record in the 40-yard dash. While he is a known for his speed, Ross improved in his route running in 2016 and blew up with over 1,000 yards, over 50 receptions, and double digit touchdowns. His breakout season in 2016 was after he tore his ACL in 2015 as a redshirt Junior. He also had his shoulder surgery repaired after the combine and has also had right lateral meniscus surgery also in 2015. But if teams are comfortable with his injury history, John Ross could end up being a Top 15 or even Top 10 pick in the NFL Draft.
