It seems Yasiel Puig’s time in Los Angeles may be coming to an end. After the team went on Monday and acquired Josh Reddick from Oakland, it seemed Puig was running out of his welcome. He followed the wishes of the Dodgers when he did not show up to the stadium on Monday before the team departing on its road trip to Colorado; manager Dave Roberts told the AP.

“ Puig did what the organization asked him to do,” Roberts said in a phone interview. Apparently, the idea was since they knew he was not going to go with them to Colorado,  why would we bother having him show up to the stadium anyway. Ultimately according to Dodgers management, the main reason for trading for Josh Reddick was they were not getting production from Yasiel Puig and felt that Reddick could give them the power.

According to Puig’s agent Adam Katz, he figures his client will be sent down to the minors someone Tuesday afternoon after the Dodgers were unsuccessful in trading the Cuban slugger at the 4 pm trade deadline on Monday.

It has been reported that the Los Angeles Dodgers have pulled the trigger to option Yasiel Puig down to Triple- A. After the events that have transpired over the last few weeks, this should not come as a surprise to anyone as the relationship between Yasiel Puig and the Los Angles Dodgers has becomes rather rocky.

My question to Dodgers fans, Would you like to see the Dodgers trade Yasiel Puig in the offseason or just out and right release him, let us know in the comments below.
