There is a showdown in Hollywood this week in the eleventh week of the NFL season. The Miami Dolphins will take their talents away from South Beach for the week as they go West, where the Los Angeles Rams will play host. The Dolphins enter town coming off a 31-24 victory in San Diego against the Chargers. The Rams were on the East Coast last week, and beat the New York Jets in a real barn burner that ended 9-6.
The Dolphins have really come alive in the last few weeks. They are now riding a four game winning streak, with the running game being a big reason for their success. Jay Ajayi has really come into his own, and owns two 200 plus rushing games in that four game winning streak. On the other side of the coin, the team has not had much success on the road, with last week’s win being their first road victory. So which Dolphin team show up? The one that struggled on the road to start the year, or the team that has been rolling of late?

As for the Rams, they may be in possession of the worst offense in the entire NFL. They are averaging a miserable 15.4 points per game, which is the worst in the league. They rank 31st in yards per game, 25th in passing yards per game, and 29th in rushing yards per game. Todd Gurley has been struggling thanks to the poor offense, and the team has finally decided to bench Case Keenum. So first overall pick Jared Goff will be under center for the first time this season. He comes off a preseason where he looked far from ready, and ten weeks sitting back and watching. Bringing in the rookie signals the team is likely ready to look to next season, and growing pains can be expected. If the Rams want to win this one, the defense is going to need a big game.
