The Michigan State Spartans seemed to not have gotten the memo that football is a brotherhood. Now head coach Mel Tucker must show that he is a leader even though he has the unenviable task of kicking several players off the team.

After a 29-7 loss, a number of Spartans players jumped two Michigan Wolverines.

According to Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh one of his players suffered a possible broken nose. He went on to say this about what happened “it needs to be investigated and brought to a conclusion, and our athletic director will make sure that takes place.”

There is a video and two names stand the most, Itayvion Brown who is seen shoving the Wolverine player through a doorway and immediately after it appears that Zion Young kicks at him. Here is the video.

Police are also investigating as well.

Regardless of assault charges being brought or not. Tucker needs to kick Brown and Young off the team and place indefinite suspensions on the other players involved with the possibility of removal from the team. This will show that he is willing to hold his players accountable for their actions and that there are consequences for it.
