Vietnamese electric car maker VINFAST had a strong showing at the LA auto show with the VF6, VF7, VF8, and VF9. Vinfast had the first test rides in California with the VF 8, and introduced two brand new models to North America: the VF 6 and VF 7. Vinfast celebrated its Vietnamese roots during Lotus Session where it showcased Vietnamese talent at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Nate Calima, a global businessman was the booming voice while influencer and Miss Asia USA 2006 Jennifer Pham was an elegant yet powerful presence that clearly articulated the vision of VINFAST after flying in from Vietnam. Performers included in the show the electrifying Petey Magik, Lina Van & Emily Wu, New World Dance Academy’s The Ave Dance Group, and Dj JutsMusic with the show directed by Yancy Trinidad.

VinFast LLC is a Vietnamese private automotive company headquartered in Vietnam. Established in 2017, it is a member of the conglomerate organization Vingroup, that was founded by Phạm Nhật Vượng. It is the first Vietnamese car brand to expand into global markets as well as the first to expand into producing EVs such as electric cars and electric scooters.

The company was founded in 2017 by Vingroup. The company designed its models with the help of Pininfarina, BMW, and Magna Steyr and participated in the 2018 Paris Motor Show. VinFast claims it will be the first volume automotive manufacturer in Vietnam as well as the first Vietnamese automaker to participate in a major international auto show.
