HENDERSON, NV — After requesting a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders, three-time All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams has the potential to completely alter the balance of power in the NFL landscape.
Thanks to catching only 18 passes for 209 yards and one touchdown, it’s safe to say that Adams has played his last game in the Raiders storied silver and black.
Here are the top three landing sports for him.
1.) New York Jets – Many feel that this one is fairly obvious and easy to predict, considering Adams’ past relationship with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, plus the Jets need for a quality WR2–or is it WR1–with Garrett Wilson already there?
Keep an eye on this.
2.) New Orleans Saints – Dome team. Former college teammate at QB. Easy and winnable division. This just as much as a slam-dunk as the Jets and a possible reunion with Rodgers. Adams has a chance to step into the Big Easy as their new WR1 immediately with his fellow Fresno State teammate in Derek Carr getting the ball to him.
3.) Washington Commanders – After missing out on Brandon Aiyuk, the Commanders gift their front-running Offensive Rookie of the Year QB1 Jayden Daniels a legit playmaking target in Adams. Can you imagine both Adams and Terry McLaurin on the outside and having to deal with RB Austin Ekeler and Daniels on the ground.
A bonus is that the NFC East is very winnable thanks to both Dallas and Philadelphia looking suspect and the Giants likely pulling up the rear.
