Best known for her role of Cassie Blake in “The Secret Circle”, Britt Robertson is ready for her close-up in 2015.
Robertson, a 24-year-old native of Greenville, South Carolina, rose to acclaim in the CW’s short-lived series, that would ultimately be cancelled in 2012, appeared opposite Dylan O’Brien in the 2012 romantic comedy, “The First Time”.
While the movie bombed at the box office, Robertson’s name would continue to gain steam as a rising star.
Her first acting role came in the 2003 film, The Ghost Club, as Carrie, earned her a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries or Special Leading Young Actress, per celebhealthy.com
Robertson would next be cast as Angie McAllister in the CBS Steven Spielberg/Brian K. Vaughan-produced summer series, “Under the Dome”, which was based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, featured Mike Vogel (Cloverfield), Rachelle Lefevre (Off The Map), Eddie Cahill (CSI: NY) and Jolene Prudy (10 Things I Hate About You), added to her growing profile.
2015 could prove to be a banner year for Robertson as she is set to appear opposite George Clooney (Monument’s Men) and Hugh Laurie (House) in Walt Disney’s new sci-fi/mystery and adventure film, “Tomorrowland” and as Sophie Danko in the drama, “The Longest Ride” based off the Nicolas Sparks novel of the same name opposite Scott Eastwood–Clint’s son,appears ready to take off into the proverbial upper stratosphere of young Hollywood’s elite.
