Week 11 of the NFL season will see a battle of the birds. One of those birds come from the East, while the others reside out West. If you have not guessed, I am referring to the Philadelphia Eagles flying out to the West Coast to take on the 12th man and the Seattle Seahawks. The Eagles won a game last week, beating the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 24-15 at home. The Seahawks went East and won a game against the Patriots in New England.

The Eagles started the season off in such promising fashion. But then they hit a rough patch, and lost to all three of their divisional opponents on the road. There has been one thing that has truly defined the Eagles this season, and that is their home-road splits. The club has won every single game that they have played in Philly this season. On the road however, they are like the Cleveland Browns: win-less. Must be something in those cheesesteaks. But this week they go back to the road, and they enter one of the hardest stadiums to win a road game. Not a good sign for Carson Wentz and his crew.

As for the Seahawks, they are seen as one of the better teams in the NFC following last weeks big victory. The team has had its fair share of ugly games this season, but at the end of the day they sit atop the NFC West with a 6-2-1 record. At home, the team is has yet to lose this season, as they are 4-0. Seems like a recipe for an easy call when you like those kind of statistics. The Seahawks only need to win by a touchdown, which I still do not feel comfortable with given how poor they have looked at times this season. But I am sticking with the data in front of me, and I will be taking the home team.
