It’s impossible to have too many up-and-coming actresses in Hollywood, especially when they carry such a unique background. Odeya Rush has her sights set on the big time, and is proving nothing is indeed impossible.
Most movie-goers will recall the 17-year-old Rush from her role as Fiona in the 2014 film, The Giver and while she hasn’t been in many high-profile films, she has come along way in getting to this point.
Born in Haifa, Israel, Rush was nine she moved to Alabama, a very challenging move to say the least, she got her acting start on commercials, with her first significant work being on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2013, Rush’s career hit overdrive. She got a role in the film “See You In Vahalla”, which was a stepping-stone to her role in The Giver. The young actress has quite a few movies in the pipeline for 2015 including The Locals and Hunter’s Prayer.
However, her biggest role will come from the feature film adaptation of the popular children’s book Goosebumps. There is no telling where this young girl will end up in Hollywood, but she is well on her way to stardom.
