A world-renowned artist, Seungkyung Oh is known for her captivating combination of nature and fantasy, and has garnered significant attention as a young contemporary Korean artist. Her latest solo exhibition “Jungle Odyssey” will be held at Space Kyeol in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and is expected to take visitors to a more captivating world of the jungle that they have never experienced before.
Running from April 16-27, the exhibition invites visitors to take a deep, mysterious journey in a small boat.

Seungkyung Oh’s Jungle does not exist only in physical space, but also shows a new world that stems from her imagination, conveying aesthetic experiences and mysterious atmospheres that cannot be found in reality.
Seungkyung Oh’s vivid colors light up happiness and hope, pushing away depression and darkness. Visitors can escape from mediocrity and discover themselves with a new perspective through her delicately constructed ideal space.
Seungkyung Oh received a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York and a master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Parsons School of Design in New York. She was awarded the North Georgia Distinguished Artist Award in 2019, the IBM Blue Wolf Artist Award in New York in 2017, and the Korean Minister of Education Award in 2010.
