In just four days, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will be playing in Super Bowl 57.
The Eagles will be trying to conquer their second Vince Lombardi trophy in franchise history and their second Vince Lombardi in five seasons.
This would also be Philadelphia’s fifth NFL championship title, having won the championship game in 1948, 1949, 1960, and Super Bowl 52 in 2017.
The Philadelphia Eagles are also the only organization to beat both all-time greatest head coaches in the NFL world championship, as they beat Vince Lombardi in the 1960 NFL championship, giving him his only postseason loss of 9-1 in his career.
The other legendary coach the Eagles beat was Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots.
Philadelphia has a chance to defeat former Eagles head coach Andy Reid, who is ranked among the top five head coaches of all time. If the Eagles become victorious, you would have to put them up there with the great organizations as they keep making history.
We can all make the argument that two Super Bowl wins in five seasons would put the Philadelphia Eagles in the conversation for a mini dynasty.
Regardless of the outcome Sunday in the desert, Thanks to owner Jeff Laurie, the Eagles are set up for years to come to compete for many more Vince Lombardi Trophies.
