It seems more and more likely that we are probably going to see a few wrestlers switch between Raw and Smackdown and vice versa. One of the names of one of those possible making the move is Sami Zayn as it is being reported that Smackdown Live General manager Daniel Bryan has been recruiting Sami Zayn to join the Smackdown Live brand.

He made his initial main roster debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble as the 20th entrant in the annual battle royal. He then would go back down to NXT for two months and would make his return to the main roster on the March 7th episode of Monday Night Raw to save Neville from being attacked by Sami Zayn’s former best friend, Kevin Owens. Here is the video of Sami Zayn’s return to RAW:

He was thrown right into the Intercontinental Title match at Wrestlemania 32 and would end up losing the match. Unfortunately, it seems that WWE doesn’t have a clear plan for Zayn as he was put into a quick program with Kevin Owens that would end up wrapping up by Battleground. When he got drafted by RAW at the WWE Draft, he would end up getting lost in the shuffle. He would go on to lose the two kickoff matches at Summerslam and Clash of Champions.

Over the last month, Zayn has started to get some consist TV time as he began a feud with Braun Strowman, who was destroying local talent before hand. Then he would earn a spot to face the Miz at Survivor Series for the Intercontinental Title. However, he would end up losing.

So now there happen to be rumors floating around that Smackdown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan, is trying to recruit Sami Zayn to Smackdown.

In my humble opinion, I would not be surprised in the least bit if we see Sami Zayn, Cesaro, and other superstars join Smackdown. I threw Cesaro’s name on that list as he has gone on the record as far as how he is very unhappy with is current situation on Raw. The only thing I would be interested in seeing is who if anyone goes from Smackdown to Raw. It will surely be interesting to see how this all plays out over the next few months.

This is only a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt.
