It requires no physical media. Instead, Stadia runs games off Google’s own servers and streams them over the internet. This means you can play on any screen connected to the internet including your desktop, tablet and mobile phone.

One of the main advantages is that you no longer have to wait to download and install games. Similar to Netflix and Spotify, the games stream instantaneously.

The allure of the Google Stadia will, of course, depend on its lineup of games. Luckily, Stadia does not disappoint. Already it has an impressive AAA library including Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy XV and Assassins Creed.
