How often have you been told to keep going, even when the odds seem stacked against you? Vittorio Rigato has heard it all before—more times than he can actually remember. A successful investor and investing coach, Vittorio’s life is a testament to the power of determination and resilience. So much so that his life mantra could be summed up by a famous saying in Italy: “Chi La Dura La Vince,” or “He who endures, wins.”
Growing up in a small town near Venice, Italy, Vittorio’s life was no different from any other person who wants to make a difference in his family’s life.
His family always taught him to take truth at face value and to question everything, asking “how, what, and why.” Vittorio lived by this lesson and always questioned the “traditional” choices people make, wondering if there was a better alternative – whether it was about career, life or long term goals.
Given his passion for learning new things, it is no surprise that Vittorio’s educational background is exceptional. He holds a Master’s in Finance and Management from the Frankfurt School. Moreover, he was a Master’s exchange student at London Business School, focusing on systematic investments and security analysis. In addition to his dazzling academic background, Vittorio topped the GMAT test, an advanced assessment measuring math and intellectual skills, with a score of 720 – making him one of the top 5% performers.
But what inspired him to start investing in the first place?
It all began with an unfortunate incident when a close friend of Vittorio decided to entrust their hard-earned money to a financial advisor.
Unfortunately, this experiment didn’t bear the fruitful results Vittorio’s friend had hoped for. He witnessed the financial advisor take advantage of his friend lack of knowledge and mismanage his wealth, leaving him worse off than they were before. This experience propelled Vittorio to take matters into his own hands and learn more about money management. He understands that just saving money won’t make anyone rich. At the age of 15, he started to learn details through hundreds of books, articles, and investment forums.
Feeling confident enough, Vittorio started to manage a small portfolio, expecting to get rich quickly with all the knowledge he had acquired. However, his sentimental approach led him to make costly mistakes, and he learned that our uncontrolled emotions could be menacing to our investments as much as they affect our personal lives.
What Vittorio achieved over a lengthy period of time was difficult for anyone to accomplish in the face of significant setbacks and challenges. Still, the fundamental lessons taught by his parents made him persevere, and his unwavering dedication helped him find that focus in life. “‘Chi La Dura La Vince,’ is an Italian saying that basically means never to give up and I lived by this belief in any context,” said the Coach.
Having now years of experience, Vittorio stands as a successful investing coach and stock market expert. He helps people invest confidently and build wealth without getting bogged down by emotions. His inspiring story teaches everyone that no matter your background or where you come from, you can make a difference if you dare to keep pushing and never give up. “Chi La Dura La Vince” – indeed.
