The beauty of College Football will be on full display this Saturday night as the No.3 ranked Clemson Tigers will take on the No. 12th ranked Florida State Seminoles.

The nation will get to see a great football game but the two teams involved will get to see where each stands heading into the home stretch of the season. Clemson will enter the game with an undefeated record as they will look to close in on a back-to-back Championship game appearance. The Tigers ar led by All-World QB, Deshaun Watson as he looks to stake his claim as the Heisman and No.1 pick for the 2018 NFL Draft. What he’s done this season has been outstanding with 20 touchdowns through the air and 274 yards rushing.

The Seminoles were once in the Tigers place but after an embarrassing loss to Louisville a heartbreak to North Carolina they find themselves on the outside looking in. But they still have one of the best RB’s in Dalvin Cook who will be out to prove the naysayers wrong with another strong performance. But, this game will come down to the arm of freshman QB, Deondre Francois. If Francois can manage the game and not turn the ball over by trying to outplay his counterpart Watson, the Seminole have a chance.

While this is an ACC battle it holds playoff implications for both teams and Louisville. If State can manage an upset that will knock Clemson down the totem pole and vault State back into contention while making the Cardinals win against State and their close loss against the Tigers that much important.

The Tigers may have, arguably the best defense in the nation and if they can contain the fast and explosive Seminole offense they will leave the stadium with a good shot at leapfrogging Michigan for No.2 in the nation. The Noles are still within striking distance but a loss here will crush all playoff hopes.
