“Look, I know the supernatural is something that isn’t supposed to happen but it does happen.” Dr. John Markway – The Haunting (1963)
Eric and Amy Bowen and their three children seem to have finally found their dream home, and have hopes of enjoying the peace and bliss of suburban life. Soon after settling in, the family begins to experience strange occurrences. At first the phenomena seem somewhat benign, but they become more sinister and aggressive. The focus of the activity narrows on the youngest of Amy and Eric’s three children, their younger daughter Madison. The violent supernatural activity hits a fever pitch when the entities actually abduct Madison. The Bowens seek help from Carrigan Burke, a gifted parapsychologist who is intent on finding their daughter while uncovering to the root cause of the phenomena . Burke and his fellow paranormal researchers discover that poltergeists are at the center of the disturbance, and they have taken Madison captive on “the other side”. Time is of the essence for them to find a way to bring Madison back, before the window closes and she is gone forever.
