Jazz Match Hornets 4-Year, $63 Million Offer Sheet for SF Gordon Hayward: According to media reports, the Utah Jazz have matched the four-year, $63 million offer sheet of the Charlotte Hornets for small forward Gordon Hayward. Hayward, 24, averaged career highs in points (16.2), assists (5.2) and rebounds (5.1)
Vince Carter Signs 3-Year, $12 Million Deal with Grizzlies: According to ESPN’s Mac Stein, the Memphis Grizzlies and veteran swingman, Vince Carter have agreed to terms on a three-year, $12 million deal. Carter, 37, averaged 11.9 points, 2.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds for the Dallas Mavericks.
Mike Miller and Ray Allen to Follow LeBron to Cleveland? After stunning the sports world in deciding to return back to Northeast Ohio, LeBron James may soon be bringing one—or possibly two—former Miami Heat teammates in Ray Allen and Mike Miller. Miller, 34, averaged 7.1 points while shooting 46 percent from three-point range for the Memphis Grizzlies.
In what appears to be a focal point of addressing Cleveland’s woeful outside shooting, the Cavaliers are also in talks with trying to land the all-time best three-point shooting specialist in NBA history in Ray Allen. Allen, 38, averaged 9.6 points while shooting 44 percent from three-point range, per ESPN’s Chris Broussard.

Isaiah Thomas Traded to Suns, Signs 4-Year $28 Million Sign-And-Trade Deal: Per Yahoo! Sports, the Sacramento Kings have agreed to a sign-and-trade deal to send point guard Isaiah Thomas to the Phoenix Suns for a $7 million trade exception and the 57th overall pick in 2013, Alex Oriakhi. Thomas averaged career highs in scoring 20.3 points and 6.3 assists.
Rockets Pursuing Ariza: With Chris Bosh deciding to stay in Miami in signing a five-year, $118 million max deal, the Houston Rockets have now turned towards free agent forward, Trevor Ariza. Ariza, 29, averaged 14.4 points, 2.5 assists and 6.2 rebounds for the Washington Wizards.
