A porcelain doll is often defined as a delicate—yet realistic–life-like doll made from glazed porcelain. Refined, elegant and delicate to the touch, porcelain has been used in pottery and doll-making for centuries.

The term “porcelain doll” can also be used to describe a fair-skinned model who has fair—and delicate features that has an eye-catching and ever-so-rare type of beauty.

Throughout the years, models such as Cara Delevingne, Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively have proverbially taken one’s breath away with their brand of fair-skinned beauty.

While not as well-known as the fore-mentioned models and actresses, Lancaster-born pin-up and glamour model, Stephanie Lauren is a prime example of a porcelain doll, if there ever one, thanks to her striking fair skin, doe-like dark brown eyes and petite frame.

A natural blonde during her high school days, Lauren dyed her hair black, and thanks to her high cheek bones and fair skin, she acquired the “Porcelain Doll” nickname, to which she is now known for in the modeling world. Having posed for a variety of fetish, pin-up, art and glamour brands, the diminutive Lauren combines classy looks with a refined and elegant style all her own.
