It seems that the next WWE superstar to be suspended for a wellness violation may come as a surprise. According to Wrestlinginc.com, former WWE Woman’s champion Sasha Banks has been removed from live events. These reports started to hit the rumor mill moments after she lost her title to Charlotte in their title match at Summerslam. I saw the match, and while an injury may be the case, they would not put her back on after thirty days.People are speculating that she surprisingly lost her belt because of her honeymoon, she suffered some injury, or she is about to be suspended.

Wrestling INC reported that she was being removed from WWE events and her first event that she is being advertised for is September 23, which is 33 days away from the site dropping the news on August 21. I don’t think it’s her honeymoon, and I am leaning more towards her being suspended. If she does get suspended, she would be the fourth wrestler to be suspended for wellness violation in the last two weeks. The other ones were Eva Marie, Paige, and Alberto Del Rio.
Unlike the other ones who have been suspended, Sasha Banks is a major part of the woman’s division on RAW. Other than Sasha Banks, you have Charlotte, Paige (Suspended), Nia Jax, and Dana Brooke. So this will sting the woman’s division if its true. WWE NXT star Bayley wrestled her final match at NXT Takeover in Brooklyn. I would not be surprised if Bayley goes to RAW and not Smackdown.
If you are WWE, you need to check your Wellness Policy. In the time span of two weeks, you suspended three wrestlers and more to come. Stay tuned as we will provide you with more information as more information comes out. Overall, this will be the biggest black mark to wrestling.
