FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — In a move that was whispered and expected by many, the New York Jets acquired wide receiver Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders for a conditional third-round pick, that can turn into a second-round pick, per media reports.
Adams, who recently requested to be traded out of Las Vegas, and stated that either the Jets or New Orleans Saints were his preferred destinations, due to his relationship with Aaron Rodgers from his time in Green Bay, and Derek Carr from his college days at Fresno State, heads to the Big Apple for a reunion with Rodgers.
Less than 24 hours after suffering a 23-20 loss to the defending AFC East champion Buffalo Bills, and a coaching change following the abrupt dismissal of Robert Saleh, it’s now or never for Gang Green.
Rodgers has everything he wanted in New York. So, there is no more margin of error and no more excuses for the future first-ballot Hall of Fame quarterback.

At 2-4, the Jets are in the outside looking in, and 11 games left, the Jets need to treat this as a marathon, and not a sprint.
Is the chemistry between Rodgers and Adams still there? Will they click like they used to in Titletown?
How quickly will Adams pick up the playbook? Is he the WR1 now over Wilson? Who’s the WR2?
These are questions that need to be answered in a New York minute. Once the Jets figure this all out and get on the same page, watch out for Gang Green, as they will then be primed for takeoff.
