The Philadelphia Eagles have had a tough stretch of games that put them on the road in four of their last five games. The Eagles lost all four road games. Their only win was at home against the Vikings.

The Eagles have yet to lose at home this season. The only road game the Eagles have won was against the Chicago Bears.

Over the next eight remaining games of the season, the Eagles play at home for five of them. Of the three remaining road games, only one team has more wins than Philadelphia. The Seattle Seahawks.

The Eagles have struggled at home in the past, but it seems the tables may have turned. The Eagles are dominating at home and losing close games on the road. The Eagles four losses average out to losing by 4.75 points. In three losses the Eagles lost by a touchdown or less. In one game the Eagles by one.

In the Eagles four wins, three of them at home, the Eagles have won by an average of 19 points.

Quite a difference if I may say so myself.

If the current trend continues, Eagles will end up 9-7. Competing with a rookie quarterback, rookie head coach, new defensive scheme, new defensive coordinator and new faces in key positions on both sides of the ball.

This was supposed to be a rebuilding year, but Carson Wentz and the defense had other plans. Now the chips are starting to fall and the team is struggling to keep fighting in the best division in the NFL.

The NFC East will send at least two teams to the playoffs this season for the first time in a long time.

The Eagles may be in the NFC East basement, but they are still very dangerous. Do not count the Eagles out just yet.
