SYNEKK, the German-born DJ and music producer based in Southeast Asia, has released his latest Afrohouse single “WENDY”, a collaboration with award-winning Kenyan singer and producer J Nana. The track was released this Friday and is currently featured on Spotify’s editorial playlist New Music Friday Kenya.
Known for blending Afrohouse, Afrobeats, and global club influences, SYNEKK delivers a high-energy yet soulful production on WENDY, pairing driving rhythms with emotional,
expressive vocals. J Nana’s contribution adds depth and authenticity, reflecting his established presence within East Africa’s contemporary music scene.
WENDY is the second single from SYNEKK’s upcoming EP, KENYA HEAR ME?, scheduled for release on March 20. The EP is fully centered on collaborations with Kenyan artists and marks a key chapter in SYNEKK’s evolution as a producer focused on Afrohouse and Afro-influenced electronic music.
Earlier releases from the project featured collaborations with CHUMA and Nes Mburu, two
well-established artists in the Afrohouse and Afrobeats space. SYNEKK will reunite with CHUMA on February 20 for his next release, “Señorita,” a flirty, upbeat Afrobeats track designed for summer and club settings. Visuals for the release are currently in production.
Now based in Southeast Asia, SYNEKK continues to grow his international profile through consistent releases, Spotify editorial support, and a long-term, artist-driven approach to his career.
