When it comes to using cannabis extracts Canada products, you find a lot of prejudices about using it. So, today we are breaking down this misinformation about pot to give you the actual facts instead.

The Biggest Prejudice: The Prohibition of Weed Protects Kids

In 2011 the use of weed amongst kids hit a thirty-year peak as one out of fifteen high school students reported they have smoked weed most of their days. Furthermore, they said they smoked more pot than cigarettes. Still, even where it is now medical-legal, they do not smoke any more than where it is not allowed.

All the legalization advocates believe it is the best way to help reduce minors using it, legalizing and regulating it. A fact is that many people believe that Portugal and Holland have legalized marijuana. However, the Dutch have never formally legalized using cannabis, and their official policy is still in place since 1976. The law states not enforcing existing laws against the possession of having small amounts. Still, over 700 coffee shops are selling it.

Still, it remains a crime in both these countries as it is not legal in Portugal.

Smoking Pot Gives You Cancer

This is a vast prejudice and not valid as smoking tobacco gives you cancer as it contains carcinogens. Furthermore, even your hardcore pot smoker consumes much less pot than people smoking tobacco. A study done by UCLA in 2006, found heavy cannabis users have not gotten lung cancer.

What they found was that it actually gave the lungs a protective effect. Further studies showed that smoking pot can inhibit the growth of a cancerous tumour. Still, with the HTFSE extracts available, you need not smoke them and can use them in other ways.

Cannabis is Addictive

Yes, you may become dependent on cannabis for some, but it only happens to the minority under heavy users. For example, research shows that only 9% of weed users are clinically dependent than those using cocaine, 15%, and heroin users of 24%.

The same people are prejudiced, thinking that all smokers are heavy users. The truth is out of 50% of people who tried it reported they used it only for 12 days, as one-third reported using it only for ten days or less in a year.

Cannabis is a Gateway Drug

Many people feel teenagers who use cannabis want to start using other drugs. Still, it does not mean that smoking weed causes you to use TIK or cocaine. The truth is a report done by the Institute of Medicine found no evidence that the effects of cannabis are linked to other illicit drugs.

Cannabis is Dangerous

Many studies have been done, and not one of them found cannabis as harmful as people drinking alcohol or smoking. They found smoking pot is actually less dangerous compared to most other drugs. It is not such a hard drug as heroin or cocaine.

Now that you know what the prejudices are and no, the facts get your bulk shatter in Canada right here.
