As a long time boxing fan, I’m ecstatic to see the sport once again getting some love and attention. Top notch boxing promoter Todd Kincaid has done it again with his promotion Kincaid-Godhard Promotions as they are all set to bring boxing back to Cleveland on Saturday November 7, 2015.

After 15 straight packed to the rafters, standing room only crowds, boxing returns to Cleveland with “Battle In The Ballroom 16″. The night of great fights will take place at the historic Slovenian Nat’l Ballroom on 6417 St. Clair Ave. / Cleveland, OH 44103

“The Historic Slovenian Nat’l Ballroom is an amazing venue to showcase Cleveland’s top talent and we’re thrilled to be back for this event. The crowd is electrifying, and the intimacy of the venue makes everyone feel a part of the show,” said Kincaid.
The card features a double main event as Light Heavyweight Jamar Watkins takes on Matt Brown for the Northeast Ohio Light Heavyweight Championship.

Watkins, the current Middleweight champion, won the title on January 31, 2015. He’s looking to become the 1st multi-weight division champion. Brown, a four-year Marine Corps (USMC) veteran, has a crowd-pleasing style and is sure to be a fan-favorite at the ballroom.

The woman will also get in the mix when Sarah Judy takes on Ja’Monica Orton who is a basketball-player-turned-boxer. This is for the vacant Women’s Welterweight Championship. The complete lineup and undercard bouts will be announced on October 27.

Expect to see fighters from the following gyms, including: West Side BC, GriffonRawl MMA, Empire BC, Raul Torres, EB Turner Rec., Rob Berto’s BC, TNT Strength, Terminator BC, Team Energetics, M.J. Zone Rec., Cal Crowell Fitness, Wrestling Factory, PAL-Thurogood, Freddy’s BC, BulaBoxing, and Old Angle BC.
Doors on the evening of the event will open at 6PM with the first bell at 7PM. Adult beverages, food, and refreshments will be available. free secure parking is located directly behind the venue.
