SEATTLE – As the Super Bowl XLVIII champion Seattle Seahawks unveil their championship banner against the Green Bay Packers, the 2014 NFL season is officially back.
Despite losing wideout Golden Tate to the Detroit Lions, Red Bryant and Chris Clemons to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle appears to still be formidable on defense and dynamic on offense thanks to Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and talented rookie wideout Paul Richardson, formerly of Colorado.
For the Green Bay Packers, they return to the sense of perhaps the most infamous blown call in modern-day NFL history, forever known as the “Fail Mary”. For the Packers, former NFL MVP and Super Bowl champion, Aaron Rodgers will look to get Green Bay back to the Super Bowl and stay in the conversation as today’s premier quarterback.

Seattle still has holes and if Green Bay had a decent defense this game might have been closer.
